Wentworth Women’s Rugby
About
The Wentworth Women’s Rugby Club was founded in 2003 and joins women and non-cis gender individuals from each COF school to play and promote the game of rugby. Through determination and hard work by these student athletes, the team competes against multiple in conference and out of conference New England club teams throughout the fall and spring seasons. Students of all backgrounds are encouraged to join, including both those who have been varsity athletes in the past, and those who have never played a competitive sport. We value our inclusive community and strive to be the most welcoming club in the COF. Women’s Rugby is the only women’s club sport at Wentworth and provides them with the opportunity to play an empowering sport while also connecting with students across all the COF schools. Our coaches and captains teach and train us to develop our technical skills, fitness and understanding of the sport.
